1999 IA FAE Training

Europe training in March

Advantech held its 1999 IA Europe FAE training in Advantech's office in Germany from March 8~12, 1999. Ten members from 8 countries attended this training course.
The goal of the five-day program was to increase the field application engineering capacity in the local vertical market in pre-sales activities. The main courses focused on importing technical knowledge of new products, and on improving trouble shooting skills. In addition to intensive lectures, attendees were given hand-on practices, Q&A session and a brief examination every day. Although it was thorough, the results of the final examination showed that most members acquired a good understanding of the products from this training.
Most members also expressed their desire to improve more. In addition to fix the daily technical questions from customers, most participants expect to learn more about applications, vertical industry practices and Advantech FX applications.

Asia & Asia Pacific training in May

Advantech will hold its 1999 IA FAE training course in Singapore from May 17~21, 1999. All Asia and Asia-Pacific branches and distributors are welcome to join in this course. Main courses include the followings: 1. Introduction to ADAM-5510 Version 2.ADAM-5510/P31, Version 4.10 for Windows 95/NT 3. OPC & OCX for ADAM-4000 / 5000 4.ADVANTECH FX & Advantech Paradym-31 5.
