New Web-based Communication Controller for Cost Sensitive Applications - The ADAM-6500
The ADAM-6500 is a fully functional Ethernet-enabled controller for industrial automation and control. It provides an ideal environment to develop applications converting RS-232/485 devices and/or equipment data to the Ethernet/ Intranet world with a minimum amount of effort. Two versions are available: one with built-in A-Studio runtime and the other with built-in Windows CE.NET. The version with Windows operating system lets users run new programs produced by Microsoft embedded VB or VC++. The Windows environment also includes a web server to allow designers to develop web-enabled applications.

The TPC-1260T and TPC-1560T recently received a certificate for the CSA C22.2 No. 60950* UL60950 test from the U.S. and Canadian Standard for Safety of Information Technology Equipment. Application Story:
Multiple System Quality Assurance Testing

One of TALON Technical Sales, a distributor of LABTECH and Advantech products, customers builds gas analyzer systems for the petrochemical industry. In a single plant multiple systems work together, and each system contains anywhere from 1 to 5 analyzers. Being able to test the systems together was proving to be quite an obstacle, considering the quality assurance tests last for up to 15 days with a sampling rate of once every 5 minutes. An added complication is that the systems will need to start and end their test at different times.
