| The
ADAM-5090 is a four-port RS-232 module, enriching
in your SCADA integration abilities. Most
of the controllers in the market limited serial interfacing with
3rd party device. An open structure module,
ADAM-5090 provides four serial communication
ports for various applications, bar code reading,
modem transmission, telephone paging, and
redundant controller system. There
are built-in UART(universal asynchronous receiver and transmitter)
and 128Bytes FIFO(flip in flip out) in each port, at communication
rates up to 115.2Kbps. |

In addition, ADAM-5090 is also designed with diagnostic functions,
so the user can read the current status from its Tx/Rx LED indicator.
Meanwhile, Advantech provides
an archive examples of loopback tests, port to port tests, I/O scans,
and more, as reference for users to integrate different systems
and develop their own SCADA at a very competitive cost. |
