What is Pattern Match and Change-of-State?

For digital input cards, the most commonly used triggers are rising edge, falling edge and level triggers (high or low). For more advanced digital input signals such as those used for chipset function tests and FPGA algorithm verifications, more advanced triggers are necessary. With Pattern Match an interrupt can be generated when the status of the digital input channels match a wanted pattern. And with Change-of-State, an interrupt is generated.......read more.
