Advantech
Embedded Computing Group will present its new System On Module
products along with 30 Days DTOS™ (Design-to-order Service)
to get your products to market fast.
System On
Module, including SOM 144 and SOM-ETX form factors, is a ready-to-use,
powerful and reliable CPU platform with various CPU choices, scalable
from Geode™ GX1, Transmeta®, StrongARM® to Pentium®
III. SOM can allow system integrators to save 80% of regular development
time and costs. The other 20% work to accomplish the embedded
CPU project can be done by the customer or utilize Advantech's
30-days DTOS™ to speed project completion.
ECG will also
launch a group of ePlatforms with low power consumption and multiple
LAN functions that are perfect for VPN, firewall, gateway and
other internet applications. For system solutions, we provide
two web-based controllers housed in a solid aluminum chassis and
embedded System On Module inside. The Web-2143, with triple-LAN
functions and Linux OS makes a good firewall device and the Web-2040
with VGA & LAN and Windows CE 3.0 is a good DMZ device.
For board
solutions, we present one 5.25" Biscuit PC with Triple LAN and
Linux OS as a high- performance firewall, one 5.25" Biscuit PC
with low power Pentium-266 CPU and Windows NT Embedded as an authorized
client, one 3.5" Biscuit PC with dual LAN and Windows CE 3.0 as
an intranet, and one 3.5" Biscuit PC with low power Geode GX1
CPU and Windows CE 3.0 as a user client.
Advantech's
Web Appliance Group will highlight its new ultra-slim and high-performance
Panel Computer the PPC-S153T at this show. The PPC-S153T includes
all the features of a powerful computer packed into a slim and
stylish housing. Perfect for space-sensitive applications, this
product occupies less that 50 mm in depth and can support an Intel
Pentium III CPU up to 1 GHz and has a 3D display engine with 8
MB VRAM. It also supports front panel built-in speakers making
it a compelling solution for multimedia applications. In order
to fit different integration needs, the PPC-S153T provides flexible
mounting options. It can be mounted against to the wall, fixed
on a VESA standard swing arm (75 mm x 75 mm), or simply placed
on an elegant desktop stand. The PPC-S153T is both industrial
and medical certified to ensure its durability and safety to the
users.
eHome,
Your Internet Home
Advantech
and its subsidiary - EHome21 Co., Ltd, will demonstrate a total
solution for building up an eHome liftstyle at Computex. The key
roles of this demonstration are Advantech's EH-7100 Multi-functional
Home Terminal and its subsidiary's EHome21 ServiceSuite™. These
two construct a fully functional eHome system which linked the
back-end systems of home security, home e-commerce, education
and amusement, on-line information and service system; together
with the front-end home automation, home security/monitoring system.
This solution
successfully serves two major functions, one-touching to the Internet
and coupling home appliances. Its seamless combination has already
been field approved and adopted in Taiwan with the alliance support
provided by the members of the EHome21 Alliance Group including
Chung Hwa Telecom, TAIWAN-SOK Shing Kong Security Co., Ltd., Health
Taiwan.Com etc.
