SOM-4470 Pentium® III SOM-ETX w/VGA, LCD, Audio, Video & LAN

With a fanless, low power Pentium® III processor, a rock solid 440BX system chipset, and an Intel 82559ER Ethernet chipset, the SOM-4470 can support the most demanding embedded applications. Used in conjunction with an easily designed customer solution board, the SOM-4470 can be quickly utilized for video and data intensive applications that need power and speed. One of the smallest Pentium III fanless solutions on the market today, this module gives developers a platform that accelerates their development time, while maintaining the capability, performance and durability of the application.

The SOM-4470 supports 3D audio, and complies with the AC97 standard, and has a 3D engine VGA/LCD controller that supports DVD play. The small, all-in-one SOM-4470 module combines audio, TV-out, and network functions. The TV-out function supports NTSC and PAL formats. High computing power and strong multimedia capability combined with low power consumption make the SOM-4470 suitable for many applications such as mini-servers, kiosks, and advertising displays.

Onboard Intel low power Pentium ® III processor 500 MHz, or Celeron™ 400Mhz processor. Board supports Intel BX chipset.
System memory up to 256MB.

Strong multimedia capability :

• On board SMI Lynx 721 2xAGP with 8MB SDRAM frame buffer, VGA support, TV out, and 24bit LCD panel function.
• On board ESS 1989 (Allegro) Sound Blaster compatible audio controller, supports Speaker out, Line-in, Line-out, and Microphone.

High-performance networking capability:
On board Intel 82559ER, supports 10/100 Mbps Ethernet (transformer on customer solution board)
