Advantech HMI Teams Up With Citect's SCADA Software at National Manufacturing Week, Melbourne Australia

New business is popping up daily as Advantech's global network continues to grow. The Australia office recently exhibited the new range of HMI products at the National Manufacturing Exhibition (May 29 - June 1) in Melbourne, Australia.

Unique event, unique opportunity
Though only in its second year running, this unique event offers something different from other exhibitions because it was created from four major events that had been held separately in the past including: AIEE (Australia's International Engineering Exhibition), ICEX (Instrumentation and Control Exhibition), AUSTECH (Machine Tools Exhibition) and ATExpo (The Assembly Technology Expo). With so many different companies involved in a single event, the potential for new partnerships is endless and Advantech made the most of this opportunity.

Teaming up for success
Advantech and Ci Technologies, a global leading supplier of SCADA software, joined together at the show to demonstrate their powerful combination of hardware and software. Advantech's wireless LAN products were used to network the Citect SCADA software between Advantech industrial panel PC's installed at both stands. The Exhibition was a huge success generating many inquiries for Advantech industrial automation products.
