The AWS-8420 Workstation With 12.1" LCD Display

Enhanced with a 12" industrial-grade 200cd/m2 brightness TFT LCD display, the AWS-8420T from the Advantech HMI family offers customers a new choice. This reliable new product features NEMA4/IP65 compliant front protection effectively preventing the dust, oil and water vapor that commercial PCs encounter from affecting the workstation's performance. An 8-slot expansion backplane gives users flexibility to connect different I/O or other cards for running critical systems. The astounding Advantech AWS-8420 also provides alternatives to -48 VDC and 24 VDC power supply ideal for meeting the demands for transport and telecommunications.

The Advantech AWS-8420 is an industrial workstation designed for applications with heavy or complicated data presentation, in areas such as power station monitor systems, traffic control centers, multi-purpose machine centers or factory production operations for cement, steel, automobiles and more.

The AWS-8420 Industrial Workstation is is equiped with 12.1" color TFT LCD, two types 8 slots backplane, first type backplane is 8 ISA, the other is 3 PCI, 4 ISA and 1 combined. The AWS-8420T includes a resistive type touch-screen option. In addition, the AWS-8420 has:

• Display : 12.1" color TFT LCD with 800 x 600 resolution
• Backplane : Two type backpalnes, 8 ISA and 3 PCI/ 4 ISA/ 1 CPUF
• Front aceess power switch, floppy, CD-ROM drive and PS/2 keyboard/mouse connector, all are protected by door.
• Front panel: Aluminum, meets NEMA 4 or IP 65
