National Manufacturing Week, NIA Show

The National Manufacturing Week, NIA show was successful as we heard many exciting comments on a number of our displays including our HMI-640S, Windows CE/HMI, 6" VGA STN LCD display. Booth patrons were eager for more information as they matched the benefits with their needs. We knew this product would be a hit at the show so we lent many HMI-640S' to our software partners to display in their booths allowing them to share in the excitement.

Many future customers were thrilled about the two SolutionPAKs; the WebOIT, all-in-one, ready to run solution for operator panel needs that gives unprecedented access to machine and process data via the Internet with it's web-enabled automation technology. They liked the idea that it came with everything you need to get to work and get connected. They also liked the Softlogic Controller SolutionPAK as it is another out-of-the-box, ready to run solution for PC-based machine or process automation requirements. It did not take convincing for these potential customers to see the powerful, flexibility of the user-friendly graphical HMI system.

It was not surprising to see the eyes of the press light up when they saw the Khameleon, CPM-1500 with its ability to change its touch pattern for different applications. We understood their excitement and eagerness to hear more about this product. The CPM-1500 flat panel monitor with 15" TFT LCD display and 20.1 touchscreen allows users to program the touch buttons which makes it a perfect match for control needs.

There was a lot of traffic through the booth allowing us to pick up many great leads. Our distributors were there with some directing their customers through our booth to get to know Advantech and our product lines. We held an executive reception for these distributors on the 32nd floor of our hotel overlooking beautiful downtown Chicago and Lake Michigan where we introduced our new products as well as our vision for future success with our treasured resellers.
