Advantech debuts its 18" industrial flat panel monitor

fpm-3180Advantech is taking a more aggressive initiative to penetrate the industrial HMI market. As more and more industrial HMI users are aware of the benefits of the flat panel monitor, its application is increasing with an emphasizing shift from small displays to bigger ones. Incorporated with an 18" LCD display, the Advantech FPM-3180 series flat panel monitor offers an ample viewing area as well as vivid and sharp images. This monitor consists of a stainless steel chassis and an aluminum front panel with anodized treatment. The front panel is sealed and meets NEMA 4 / IP 65 standard, which qualifies the system to operate in a harsh environment.

The FPM-3180 provides the OSD (On Screen Display) function and supports multi-scan mode, which presents a resolution up to 1280*1024. Its direct VGA interface can easily accommodate a regular VGA control card without having to upgrade your existing system. Touchscreen version is also available for optional choice. With an 8-wire resistive type touchscreen, the monitor turns into a remote control system. For remote control application, optional transmission cables are available for 5m, 10m, 20m, 30m and 50m.
