Advantech’s PPC-6120 Upgraded to Provide Greater Flexibility
 |
Advantech’s Industrial Automation Group (IAG) are pleased to announce that the multifunction PPC-6120 has had an upgrade and now comes with the ability to allow users to install the processor of their choice.
Flexibility is the key to this upgrade, choose any 4th generation processor, from the low end Celeron to the powerful i7 Intel 4th Generation Core i CPU to meet their needs. Fourth generation i processors are thirteen percent faster than their predecessors and have a twenty-four percent increase in graphics performance.
The compact device with a 12.1” 5-wire resistive touch screen is ideal for connecting directly to devices through an integrated isolated RS-422/485 port which protects the port in the event of power spikes. If however, a larger screen is required, users can simply attach two extra displays using the VGA and Display Port ports which can be used simultaneously with the PPC-6120.
For added reliability, as well as the isolated RS-422/485 port, the PPC-6120 also comes with a wide voltage input range of 12~30 Volts so that in factories unstable power it will continue to work.
The PPC-6120 also comes with the following features: IP65 front bezel, so it can be cleaned with jets of water, four RS-232 and four USB 3.0 ports for added connectivity, dual Gigabit Ethernet ports and for expandability a PCIex4 or PCI card can also be added.
The PPC-6120 is available now. For more information contact your Advantech sales representative or visit www.advantech.com. |
