Introducing Two New Members of the Robust ADAM Family
ADAM-4510I/ADAM-4520I

Advantech is proud to announce the release of two new ADAM modules, the ADAM-4510I, an RS-422/485 repeater and the ADAM-4520I, an RS-232 to RS-422/485 converter. Both modules are much more rugged than previous models in the same series; they have wider range of operating and storage temperatures, they can accept a wider power input (10~48 VDC), and they have better anti-noise design. Moreover, they provide signal isolation (3,000VDC) protection and power surge (500V) protection. These industrial-grade features ensure more robust and reliable operation in harsh environment applications.

Wide Operating Temperature and Broader Power Input Range
ADAM-4510I/4520I support a broad operating and storage temperature range, from -40˘X ~ 85˘X C, so that they can be used in extremely hot or cold environments. ˇ§Engineers will be able to save time and effort when using these modules in outdoor or harsh environments thanks to their robust industrial designˇ¨, notes Kunyu.Lee, Product Manager with Advantech. Anti-Noise and Auto Baud Rate Detection Functions
In order to prevent noise interference affecting your system, the ADAM-4510I/4520I have been designed with more protection to counteract environmental effects. Additionally, ADAM-4510I/4520I support auto baud rate detection, which can automatically detect local network properties, allowing more flexibility and providing greater benefits to both engineers and businesses.
