Advantech Launches Automation Computer with Intel Atom Processor and Two PCI Interfaces

Taipei, Taiwan – October 2010 – The Industrial Automation Group of Advantech has released a powerful new fanless Embedded Automation Computer, the UNO-3072LA. Featuring an Intel® Atom™ N270 1.6GHz processor, DVI-I port, 2 x RS-232/422/485 ports, 2 x Gigabit Ethernet ports, 5 x USB 2.0 ports, onboard system and I/O programmable LED indicators, and 2 x PCI slots, the UNO-3072LA is suitable to handle many machine automation applications. UNO-3072LA also supports 1 x SATA HDD/SDD bracket with shock/vibration absorbers for data storage security and 1 x external SATA port for storage expansion.
UNO-3072LA is designed with selectable AT/ATX power mode without any internal adjustment efforts, and one internal USB socket for encryption to enhance software security, which allows users to build machine solutions easily.
UNO-3072LA is compatible to the popular Windows operating systems, like Windows 7, Windows Vista/XP, also provides embedded operating system solutions offering a pre-configured image with optimized onboard device drivers, such as Windows CE 6.0 R2, Windows XP Embedded, Windows Embedded Standard (WES), Advantech Embedded Linux and also binary drivers for Linux and QNX installation.
