Advantech introduces a new versatile Embedded Automation Computer, the UNO-2171. This new model comes with a Pentium® M 1.4 GHz CPU, and features a fanless design, which operates fast & reliable, even under extremely high temperatures (up to 60° C). Along with the same robust and convenient features as other UNO modules, such as battery back-up SRAM, strong anti-vibration, and OS support (Windows® 2000/XP, Linux, and Embedded OS). UNO-2171 also provides PC/104+ bus expansion for versatile applications.

Powerful Computing & Fanless Design
UNO-2171 is an x86 platform with Pentium M 1.4GHz CPU and 512 MB DDR RAM with many ingenious industrial features. Combined with Advantech’s superior fanless design, UNO-2171 provides excellent and reliable performance even under extremely high temperatures. Moreover, its built-in battery back-up (512KB SRAM) secures valuable data in the event of a sudden shut down. Furthermore, its anti-vibration feature promises 1Grms @ 5~500 Hz with 2.5” HDD.

Versatile I/O & Expansion Capabilities
UNO-2171 has a complete I/O interface that features 4 x serial ports, 2 x LANs, 2 x USB 2.0 ports, 1 x PCMCIA, VGA and Audio. It also provides a flexible and open PC-104+ bus expansion for additional I/O communication modules or video solutions. The versatile I/O and expansion capability offers an optimal choice for multi-function applications.

Strong OS & Driver Support
With strong driver support, customers can easily develop applications on Windows 2000/XP, Linux or Embedded OS such as WinCE5.0, WinXP Embedded (SP2) or Embedded Linux. An application ready platform bundling Windows XPe (SP2), a WinCE5.0 image and industrial CF card is also available.
