Advantech at EWEA 2013: Europe's Premier Wind Energy Event

Advantech will be showing their latest products for the Wind industry at EWEA 2013 – EWEA 2013 Annual Event is Europe’s premier wind energy industrial event comprising an extensive exhibition and comprehensive conference. The event is held every year and attracts over 10,000 attendees. COMPUTING AND CONTROL PLATFORMS
Advantech’s UNO-2184G is a high-performance Intel 2nd generation Core i7-2655LE/847/807UE grade computer that supports PCI-104 with daughterboard expansion, three displays, six 6 USB ports, and two Mini PCIe sockets. It also features WLAN and 3G expansion capabilities and compatibility with Windows 7. The four Gigabit LAN ports on the UNO-2184G support teaming function with fault tolerance, link aggregation, and load balance features. The UNO-2184G is a high end computing platform designed to support applications with tremendous data volume and processing requirements.

Advantech will also be showing the APAX and ECU controllers. APAX is now available in an extra-hardened version APAX-PE with higher levels of protection against shock, vibration and EMC.

INDUSTRIAL COMMUNICATIONS

Advantech will also show the EKI-6343AGN: The EKI-6340 series are perfect wireless Mesh access points for your outdoor deployment. With self-healing & self-forming capabilities, the wireless network is free from interruption even if part of the mesh fails. The ultra-fast roaming seamlessly enables immediate re-association without any data loss.

The low latency and high throughput multiple hopping features greatly enables the extension of network coverage. The high-throughput mesh network perfectly supports the demand from big data applications such as SCADA, video security and meter data management.

Comprehensive security features protect the system from intrusion and the IP67 waterproof enclosure with wide operating temperature range design enables excellent performances under all harsh outdoor environments.

SCADA VISUALISATION
With a brand-new design, the TPC-2140WP series provides a high resolution 21.5" display and PCT multi-touch in 16:9 wide format. The TPC-2140WP can support the latest multi-touch applications such as SCADA and also supports a mini-PCIe slot for fieldbus communication such as Profibus, Profinet or EtherCAT. The opening side cover is designed for easy maintenance of Cfast/HDD/Mini-PCIe components.

MOBILE COMPUTING

To complete the offer, Advantech will show also the S10A, a semi-rugged mobile tablet PC ideal for O&M technicians and the TREK-723 in-vehicle computer perfect for his trusty 4x4.
