EKI-2526PI PoE Industrial Ethernet Switch
Receives ATE’s “Best Product of 2009” Award

Taipei, Taiwan – February, 2010 – The Industrial Automation Group of Advantech is honored to announce that the EKI-2526PI PoE Industrial Ethernet switch has received Application of Electronic Technique’s (ATE) “Best Product of 2009” award in the Network and Communication category. EKI-2526PI was chosen for its reliable and easy-to-use capabilities for industrial applications.

EKI-2526PI is a 6-port PoE industrial Ethernet switch, which support 4 x PoE ports which are classified as power source equipments (PSE). Advantech EKI PoE devices can be used to power IEEE802.3af compliant powered devices by Ethernet cable and eliminates the need for additional power wiring. Furthermore, EKI-2526PI comes with an IP30 rated metal housing to protect against the harsh conditions of industrial environments.

EKI-2526PI is extremely rugged, and its additional Ethernet port allows users to setup a daisy chain topology, providing versatile network architectures for industrial applications. Furthermore, it's wide operating temperature (-40 ~ 75° C) allows it to operate reliably even in the most extreme environments.
