Advantech's ADAM-6521S

 

Taipei, Taiwan -Advantech is pleased to launch the latest extension to its family of Ethernet media converters. ADAM-6521S works as an industrial converter with one single mode fiber port for long distance transmissions up to 15 km, but also works as a switch with its four industrial-grade 10/100 Mbps Ethernet ports.

Like other modules in the ADAM series, ADAM-6521S can be mounted in three different ways, DIN rail, wall/panel or piggyback stacking. ADAM-6521S supports a wide voltage range of 10 to 30 VDC over the terminal block, and the operating temperature ranges from -10 to 65°C. Moreover, ADAM-6521S supports up to 3000 VDC surge protection and 4000 ESD protection for the Ethernet ports. These features make it reliable in harsh operating environments.

ADAM-6521S has one fiber port and four RJ-45 ports. With fiber-optic transmission, you can prevent noise from interfering with your system and implement transmission distances up to 15 km.
