Event Report - SPS/IPC/DRIVES 2011

The SPS/IPC/DRIVES 2011 expo was held this year in Nuremberg, Germany from November 22th to 24th. At 84m2 it was Advantech Europe’s biggest trade show booth this year! Focusing on realizing its mission of ‘Enabling an Intelligent Planet’, Advantech showcased a wide range of products, components, systems and integrated automation solutions. Over 400 attendees from around the world visited Advantech’s booth to show their interest in the total solutions that Advantech provides.

Advantech demonstrated its key theme of “Intelligent Automation, Seamless Integration” with a complete range of product lines, including: HMI, Industrial Communication, Intelligent Distributed Control, and I/O modules. Advantech also presented all components for embedded systems, digital logistics, and integrated automation solutions. Advantech’s product portfolio was arranged in such a way to demonstrate the concept of Advantech being a one stop shop for all Industrial Computing needs.

At the exhibition attendees discussed Advantech’s various system architectures, explored new business opportunities and examined current market trends. The exhibition was considered a great success by all involved.
