New APAX Series RTD and High Speed Analog Input Modules Available
The Industrial Automation Group of Advantech has launched two new APAX I/O modules, an 8-channel RTD module (APAX-5013) and a 12-channel High Speed Analog Input module (APAX-5017H). These new modules enrich the APAX family members with advanced functionality for factory production, data acquisition, environment monitoring and facility monitoring applications.
APAX-5013 is a Resistive Thermal Device designed for temperature data acquisition featuring high accuracy to identify temperature information and wire burn-out detection through highest and lowest default parameter settings which can take action in the event the RTD sensor fails. APAX-5017H is a High Speed Analog Input module with 12-channel high density I/O points, featuring high sampling rates with 1,000 samples a second per channel. The input type of each channel is configurable by different range of voltage and current respectively, including 0~500mV, +-10 V, 0~10V, 0~20mA, 4~20mA.
Both APAX-5013 and APAX-5017H can save installation costs and support hot swap capability to reduce downtime and maintain costs. APAX I/O modules can communicate and obtain power through backplanes, APAX-5001(1-slot) and APAX-5002 (2-slot), to build local I/O systems and remote I/O systems through Ethernet backplane and any standard switch for various application needs. APAX also provides APAX-5343E power supply module for AC to DC power supply needs. Inheriting the APAX features of flexible and scalable, APAX-5013 and APAX-5017H are suitable for various monitoring applications. |
