New dedicated SCM Specialist for AOnline Business Support

This year SCM has extended a proven successful planning model to provide a special fulfillment force to AOnline sales sector within RBUs. The first task is to build up the co-planning SCM process between AOnline and SCM through assigning a dedicated SCM specialist, Karen Chen, to provide 2-way communication channel for AOnline selected item buffer setup that will target to give the best & fast delivery service according to AOnline business nature. The below description is about the highlighting & major tasks for this dedicated SCM role:

1. Actively support AOnline fulfillment

• Cowork with AOnline BDM & marketing team to decide the selected / promotion items for AOnline sales with the availability in time assurance. In other words, ensure AOnline sales to promote the goods mainly focused on A/B type products and through frequent review to keep the whole buffer stock with the best turnover.
• Help facilitate the setup of the safety stock. A safety stock list could be provided by RBU-AOnline and reviewed by HQ-SCM especially when RBU-AOnline has promotion campaigns on specific items.
• A bridge within SCM, RSM, and RBU AOnline to inform SCM about ongoing projects and potential FCST buffer setup.

2. Closely watch AOnline monthly revenue achievement and support to maximize backlog shipment

• Coordinate CFC team to support and watch their backlog status & pending backlog issues
• Coordinate SCM team to resolve any delay shipments in ACL (backorder minimization)
• Flexible global buffer transfer or prioritized allocation required

The dedicated AOnline SCM supportive role function will make a different shape compared with the normal planning in view of product development base. It will be more focus on strong & frequent interaction with AOnline sales team to make things happened in a quick response environment. Through this special supply chain function deployed for AOnline sector, we will expect to the “72 hours ready to ship” will be fulfilled and committed to our valued AOnline customers
