Software Development for Advantech DAQ Products Takes a Leap Forward

Advantech launch their new DAQ Navi application for configuring PCI, USB and PCI-104 Data Acquisition devices. The DAQ Navi application has three parts: the Software Development Kit, Device Driver, and Device Test Utility with User Guide to replace the previous multiple drivers, device manager and SDK.
DAQ Navi has two methods of providing control: Control allows users to configure and run basic parameters through Visual Studio.net whilst Class Library allows system integrators to write their own device functions using C/C++, C#, VB.Net or Delphi, therefore providing a more robust method of controlling devices.
A new and improved device driver has been developed so that DAQ Navi can be installed on Microsoft 32/64-bit Windows 7, XP and Vista to allow for easy migration between systems making it more cost effective and faster for multiple system integrations.
The Device Test Utility provides testing tools and parameter settings for AI reading, waveform display and DO control. Information such as pin assignments, signal connections and specifications can be viewed from within the application as well.
The new integrated User Guide contains programming reference material, example programs and introductory videos to help users get the most from this application.
This latest advancement from the Advantech software development team makes the managing of Data Acquisition devices easier and more versatile than ever before. To find out more go to http://support.advantech.com/support/default.aspx and search for DAQ Navi.
