The new IPPC-9151 is Advantech's first industrial-grade panel PC with the Intel® Pentium® 4 processor. In addition to powerful computing capability, IPPC-9151 also provides two PCI expansion slots, and front access USB and OSD for better control and easier connectivity. With the same industrial-grade design as the Advantech IPPC series, the front panel is NEMA4/IP65 compliant, has hard anodic coating, tempered glass, a 15" TFT LCD screen, and a stainless steel chassis. IPPC-9151 is rugged enough to handle challenging industrial environments.

Powerful computing, high expansion capability, and easy connectivity and control
IPPC-9151 is a fully functional computer system with high performance computing and unique features that have been gradually emphasized by industry application. This new model provides a Socket 478 CPU structure to support Pentium® 4 processors up to 3.06 GHz, and also has two PCI Slots for PCI add-on cards, which can be used for motion, I/O, or industrial communication cards for digital, analog or special communications requirements. Besides, the front access USB allows convenient device connection. Another user-friendly feature is the front panel OSD. Operators can adjust the brightness to fit in with different environments, and turn off the backlight in unmanned situations to save power and increase the backlight's lifetime.

Powered by Pentium® 4 with hyper-threading technology
By adopting Intel® Pentium® 4 with Hyper-threading technology (HT technology), the computing performance of IPPC-9151 is faster and more powerful. HT technology enables multi-tasking operations by executing two treads in parallel. This will make the PC system function more effectively since it works as if there were two "virtual" processors working simultaneously.

Optimal choice for dusty environments
Another unique feature comes with IPPC-9151. A dust filter covers the heat exhaustion openings. In dusty environments like tobacco factories, oil refineries, or sawmills, the dust filter will block dust and dirt from entering the system. This further improves reliability, and makes IPPC-9151 the optimal choice for dusty environments.

Besides the advantages above, IPPC-9151 also has a 3.5 HDD, built-in slim size CD-ROM and FDD, and offers panel and rack mounting for diverse applications. A stainless steel front panel is available by request. IPPC-9151 is available in August.
