Advantech extends its Flat Panel Monitor (FPM) series with the new economical FPM-2150GB, an industrial-grade 15" flat panel monitor with VGA port. The features of FPM-2150GB are simplified to better meet market requirements. Therefore FPM-2150GB can save costs of up to $165, but still keep the main features of the earlier FPM-2150GA, such as a thin and light design, and many industrial-grade features.

The traditional high cost of industrial monitors has always been a concern. FPM-2150GB is specially designed to better address this. It has no PS/2 connector, since most customers are not used to operating a keyboard or mouse from the front panel. Besides, the previous standard wall/desktop bracket is now an optional selection. Due to the simplified features, the price of FPM-2150GB is very attractive. The price cut down is $120 from 2150GA to 2150GB, and if choosing the touch screen version (RS-232 interface), the price difference is up to $165.

FPM-2150GB has the same compact appearance and dimensions of FPM-2150GA. The thickness is only 48 mm and the weight is 3.7 kg, which eases integration and installation. The front bezel is made of Al-Mg with NEMA4/IP65 compliance and the Direct-VGA signal transmission allows data viewing up to 3 meters away. Besides, FPM-2150GB also provides a touch screen interface with RS-232 or USB interface by request.
