Taipei, Taiwan – January 2010 – Advantech is honored to have received six 2010 Taiwan Excellence Awards; for the IPPC-8151S, APAX-5000 series, UNO-1170 series, UTC-W101E, NCP-7560 and MIC-5322. With their outstanding designs and unique features, these products beat out many competing devices in similar categories. The Taiwan Excellence Awards selection is based on four different criteria: R&D, Design, Quality, and Marketing. Each product must score evenly well in each category in ordered to be selected. An international panel of judges is invited to participate in this honorable selection in which the finalists surface after several evaluations. This is an annual event which has a well-known and quality assured reputation.
IPPC-8151S
Selected from various competing models, IPPC-8151S features a 316L stainless steel front panel which allows it to satisfy the standards required in food processing, clinical, chemical or pharmaceutical applications. Moreover, when modified with the fully sealed enclosure, it is completely protected against water damage, achieving a NEMA4 (IP66) grade of protection. See More

NCP-7560
This 4U rack-mount network appliance is scalable from 12 to 96 cores based on the Cavium Networks OCTEON Plus network services processor, demonstrating almost 80 Gbps of data throughput over six 10 GigE and sixteen GigE ports. The system scales from one to eight boards, each loaded with Cavium’s 12-core OCTEON Plus CN56/57XX processor and all boards are interconnected by internally switched XAUI ports.
