Passing the wireless certification process is a critical step for IoT products on their way to market. However, adhering to differing regulations across multiple jurisdictions often proves extremely time consuming and expensive. After purchasing wireless modules, customers still need to select suitable antennas and cables that meet the specific needs of their business environment.
To solve these issues, the Advantech Industrial Wireless (AIW) solutions team developed two ready-to-use wireless kits: one for Wi-Fi/BT combo (EWM-W192K1/K2) and another for LTE Cat. 16 (EWM-C186). Each of the sets includes cables, antennas, and modules that have passed common wireless certifications—such as FCC, CE-RED, and IC.
Using these kits, customers enjoy three key benefits:
Having specialized kits on hand when planning the go-to-market schedule reduces uncertainties related to certification procedures
Including antennas and cables in the kits frees users from worrying about selecting the right accessories and meeting minimum order quantities
Already possessing mainstream US and EU certificates, kits save on development costs
