 The
new PCM-3601 PC/104 56 K/V.90 Voice/Fax modem allows system integrators
to easily add powerful modem capability to all their embedded
applications. This full featured modem card is a perfect match
for all Advantech Biscuit PCs, Half-size CPU cards and of course,
our PC/104 series of SBCs. This fast and rugged modem gives the
ability to take advantage of increasingly common 56K transmission
speeds as well as complete voice/fax capability. The PCM-3601
is right at home in an industrial environment or a wide variety
of embedded applications such as home/building networking, security
systems and point of sale uses, to name a few.

 The
PC/104 form factor allows for maximum performance in space-limited
and harsh environment applications. The Rockwell DSP (hardware
data pump) meets the ITU-T V.90 standard of 56K bps max data transmission
without additional CPU loading. Full duplex voice functionality
is supported as well as the G3 standard of 14.4K fax transmission.
